Voya Flow ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Data We Collect
- Apple ID information — When you sign in with Apple, we receive your user ID and optionally your name and email. We use this to create your account.
- Calendar data — With your permission, we read today's calendar events to include in your briefing. This data is processed on-device and sent to our servers only to generate your briefing. We do not store your calendar data.
- Location — With your permission, we use your approximate location to provide weather information. We do not track or store your location history.
- Preferences — Your settings (personality, modules, voice, theme) are stored on your device and synced to our servers to generate your briefings.
- Usage data — We track briefing generation counts for rate limiting. We do not track your behavior, screen views, or tap patterns.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to generate and deliver your personalized morning briefing. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data in any way.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — Authentication and data storage.
- AI services — We use AI language models to generate your briefing text. Your briefing data is sent to these services for processing but is not stored by them.
- Text-to-speech services — We use third-party TTS to convert your briefing to speech. Briefing text is sent for audio generation but is not stored.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. We follow industry-standard security practices.
Children
Voya Flow is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
